We are pleased to announce the formation of our Advisory Board: Professor Anna Harris, Professor Klaus Hoeyer, and Professor Christine Hine. Anna Harris is Professor of Anthropology and Medicine at Maastricht University in the Netherlands. Her ethnographic fieldwork focuses on medical practices and other crafts. She currently leads a project on creativity in hospitals and clinical waste called Make Do Medicine. Klaus Hoeyer is Professor of Medical Science and Technology Studies at the Centre for Medical STS, University of Copenhagen. His research focuses on the links between policy, practice and experience in medical research and clinical practice. In recent years, he has focused mainly on the increased emphasis on collection, storage, use, reuse of health data, and how these data practices change the health services. Professor Christine Hine is a Sociologist of Science and Technology at the University of Surrey in the UK whose work focuses on the role played by new technologies in the knowledge construction process. She has a major interest in the development of ethnography in technical settings and in the use of the Internet in social research. Together, our advisory board will offer multidisciplinary insights and feedback on our conceptual, methodological, and analytical approaches to the data-care-learning nexus.
